ALFC’s Guest Services Department fulfills two specific and important purposes: welcoming our first-time guests and providing general ministry information.
Welcoming Guests
It is a proven fact that the first impression made in a church creates a lasting impression in the mind of a visitor. Guest Services plays a vital role in assuring a pleasant experience for ALFC first-time as well as returning guests. During the service when first-time guests are acknowledged, they are encouraged to stop by the Guest Services table immediately following service. There, we personally thank each one for choosing to be a part of our services and present them with a gift as a token of our appreciation. In addition, guests can obtain a variety of ALFC resource material including:
- Campus map
- Classes and services offered
- Family Matters
- Information on water baptism
- Upcoming event flyers
- Sign-up sheets for various activities and much more.
Information Services
Guest Services serves as the information hub for the ministry. Abundant Living Family Church offers a plethora of services, classes, and programs as well as activities for children, youth, adults, and families. Guest Services representatives have a responsibility to be well informed and provide accurate information.
Opportunities to Serve
The Guest Services Department is comprised of committed and dedicated team members who volunteer their time to make our guests feel welcomed as well as serve as an information base for the ministry.
We welcome new volunteers to our team. As a team member, you will be scheduled to serve as part of a designated group. Each group serves two Sundays a month during one of six weekly services. Volunteers are given the opportunity to choose which service best suits their schedule.
Prospective volunteers must complete the membership process. Successful completion of the membership process includes submitting a completed membership registration card and completing a one-time New Members Orientation. For more information pertaining to membership, please contact the Church Administration Office at 909.987.7110.
